Primer is something I always like to have for different parts of my face. I wanted to share my Favourite Primers 2014 with you. Because, after finding a primer I liked troublesome, these made me aware that there are primers out there for me.
The Body Shop – Tea Tree Pore Minimiser Primer
Primers have been something I’ve dabbling in this year and trying to find one that doesn’t feel like silicone or breaks me out has been interesting. But after trying The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Pore Minimiser primer, I’ve not found anything I love as much as this. It’s been a constant in my routine since I first tried it whether I’m wearing makeup or not.
On ‘no makeup days’, I’ve been wearing this alone to help calm and cool my skin when it’s having a bad day. It seems to help. I think this is also because it helps to control the oils without drying out my skin.
I have oily/combination skin and find this works no matter what mood my skin is in that day. It leaves a semi-matte finish and doesn’t cling to dry areas or break me out. This primer feels like a gel moisturiser and once it’s set it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything.
E.L.F- Eye Primer
Trying to find a budget-friendly eye primer that I liked was something else I was searching for this year, and ELF’s eye primer has won my heart. I use it under eyeshadow or alone, as well as under my eyes. It doesn’t dry out under my eyes and the tone helps to disguise dark circles and prime for any concealer. I’ve gone through two of these already.
