Botanics Biodegradable Face Wipes

Botanics Biodegradable Face Wipes

Why Biodegradable?

My thoughts are that the Oceans are full of rubbish that is damaging to the environment and the eco-system. That’s one of the reasons that I’m trying to find products for my skin care routine that help in reducing this harmful waste.

So, of course, I had to try out Boots Botanics Cleansing Face Wipes that are not only cruelty-free but biodegradable.

Not only is the packaging recyclable and the face wipes biodegradable, but they have been developed the KEW Royal Botanic Gardens.

I tend to use face wipes in conjunction with face wash when I’m at home. But if I’m travelling or out and about they can be really helpful for refreshing the skin.

Do They Work?

However, they claim that these remove waterproof formulations and I have seen it with my own panda eyes. I always wear waterproof mascara with another mascara on top of that and it’s always a pain removing it. Especially with sensitive skin.

But these really are fantastic at cleansing my skin and getting rid of my makeup. Foundation and all. But without drying out my skin.

The more kind and natural products are for both my skin and the environment, it makes me feel better about using it. I’m now on my second packet and even got family members on to them.

You get 25 wipes for £3.49. Making them about 13p each. However,  I like to buy them with the 3 for 2 offers that Boots often has. Which makes them about 9p each. So, it just goes to show that companies don’t have to make eco-friendly and cruelty-free products cost the Earth.

I’m really excited to try more from the Botanics range and if you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen that I purchased something else this past weekend.

Have you tried anything from the Botanics range that you’d recommend? What’s your favourite cruelty-free/eco-friendly beauty product at the moment?
