This has been the most read post since I started Life Beauty Lens. Learning a language can be a difficult and frankly frustrating task at times. But after deciding to focus on learning just German I have found lots of helpful, mostly free, tools.

On International Women’s Day, I was inspired and wrote a short piece on Gender Equality. It’s not just about women’s rights, but everyone’s.

I was sent a bottle of Moonbeam when I was on my old blog and it’s been an obsession ever since. This cruelty-free and vegan-friendly brand have fragrances from Cherry Blossom to Pizza and Paperback to Play-doh.

I have bought more from them myself since writing this review on the company as I love their fragrances so much.

As a part of the seasonal edit series and a self-confessed nail polish junkie, I had to give nail polish its own post. The selection this year was mostly pastel shades compared to last years. All cruelty-free, of course, and a mix of affordable brands that are easily accessible and higher end.

I hadn’t heard a lot about Mally’s cosmetics before, but I had heard good things about a few products. Mostly from YouTuber Emilynoel83.

I was bought this set my a lovely family member who knew just what would cheer me up one week. Having no preconceived ideas about these products I tried them out for a fair bit before writing this post on the collection.

The response I’ve had has been fantastic and I have really appreciated every comment and tweet about it.

As I was on the hunt for a good under eye concealer that didn’t cost the earth I went into Wilkos and picked up some Essence cosmetics. I had wanted to try them for ages. As all of the German YouTubers, I watch talk about them constantly and are always going to their blog events.

So, I picked up a couple of lip pencils and the pen concealer.

As I’ve had problems with my skin over the years I have tried 11 out of the 13 products in the Tea Tree range at The Body Shop. This is about the five items I had in my collection at the time. Both makeup and skincare that did and didn’t work for me.

Jim Carrey is one of my favourite actors. Guaranteed to make me laugh or cry. But with such a large catalogue of films to choose from sometimes, a few can be missed.

So I limited myself to sharing just five that I think shouldn’t be missed. Both comedic and dramatic.

Last but certainly not least. Not all great time travel films need a Delorean. In fact, not all time travel films need a machine at all.

Just limiting myself to five, I shared some time travel films that you may not have seen before that I think are worth watching.
